Longneng Power Group Invests in First BOT Project in the Philippines;Mobisolar Selected for Turnkey EPC

July 22, 2024 | Batangas, Philippines- In a significant move towards bolstering the Philippines’ renewable energy infrastructure, Longneng Power Group has initiated its first Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project in the   country.   This   milestone   project,   aimed   at   enhancing   energy   sustainability,   is   set   to   be   executed   by Mobisolar, a leading player in the Philippine solar industry renowned for its expertise in turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.

The project entails the installation of a 1.82 megawatt peak (MWp) photovoltaic (PV) system, expected to generate  approximately  2.73  million  kilowatt-hours  (kWh)   of   electricity  annually.   This  output  will  not   only significantly reduce operational costs but also mitigate carbon dioxide emissions by tons annually, aligning closely with the Philippines’ independent energy policy objectives.
